Female Founder Pitch Night

We’re teaming up with Tide for an evening showcasing the next wave of women-led startups.

Five female founders will take to the stage to pitch their businesses for the chance to win £2,000! You'll also hear insights from our panel of experienced female founders to share their experiences of building in public and fundraising. Plus, you'll get the chance to network with all the women building cool things in the community.

So whether you're a founder, aspiring entrepreneur or just want to see some brilliant women in action, this is your chance to make connections and be inspired 💫

• 6:00pm – Doors open: grab a drink and start connecting with fellow founders, investors and supporters

• 6:30pm – Live pitches: 5 female founders pitch their businesses!

• 7:15pm – Expert panel session: a conversation with experienced founders, hosted by Jas & Grace.

• 7:45pm – Winner announcement: £2,000 prize revealed, followed by more mingling 🥂

• 8:30pm – Event close

Is it free to open a Tide account?

 👉 Yes - it takes just a few minutes and costs nothing.

What if I already have a Tide account?

👉 If you already have a Tide account, you can still take part. If you already have a limited company account, you can set up a sole trader account. Existing members can manage up to five different businesses under one Tide login using the "Multi-business" feature. For more details on how to set up a new account, please email yesmeen.sanusi@tide.co 

What if I applied for the last pitch competition? Can I apply again?

👉 Yes! If you applied previously but weren’t selected, you’re very welcome to apply again for this round. Though we’d recommend updating your application and pitch deck where possible, whether that’s refining your story, strengthening your traction, or incorporating feedback since the last round.

I'm having trouble opening my free Tide account, can you help?

I want to apply to pitch but I don't have a pitch deck.

👉 LFH is hosting a pitch practice evening on Thursday 19th March (6-8pm), in which Jas will run through all the core components of a pitch deck and how to deliver it, so you feel pitch ready! Click here to find out more.

I’ve applied to pitch. Do I still need to get a ticket? 

👉 Yes! Applying to pitch does not reserve you a ticket. If you want to attend on the night, please also get a ticket.
